  1. Evening before · from 18:30

    Depart Sapa or Cao Bang

    Overnight sleeper bus to Cat Ba — a cabin bus from Sapa, a standard sleeper from Cao Bang. Pick-up point and exact departure time are confirmed with your request.

  2. Day 1 · about 07:00

    Arrive on Cat Ba

    The bus drops you at the Cat Ba bus station around 07:00.

  3. Day 1 · 07:30

    Car to your accommodation

    Cat Ba Outdoors arranges the car from the bus station to The Healing Camp in Xuan Dam, or to your private hotel in Cat Ba town. Early check-in depends on availability; luggage can be left at reception.

  4. Day 1 · day and evening

    Rest, beach, town

    A slow day on the island: rest, the beach, cycling around Xuan Dam or the seafront in town. At The Healing Camp, Slow Table dinner and a Blue Hour drink can be added to your request.

    Breakfast at your accommodation.

  6. Day 2 · 11:15

    Car to Beo Harbour

    Cat Ba Outdoors' car takes you to the harbour for the 12:10 boarding.

  7. Day 2 · 12:10

    Board the cruise

    Our tour guide picks you up and we board the cruise after finishing all cruise papers. Check in, enjoy a Welcome Drink and receive the cruise brief and safety instructions from the crew and Cruise Manager.

  8. Day 2 · 12:30

    Lunch on the untouched route

    Lunch is served while we continue the journey via the islets — amazing limestone karst formations rising out of the sea. This area is untouched, as not many cruise ships use the route via Cat Ba Island – Coc Ngoi islet – through Cua Dong to the Ba Trai Dao area.

  9. Day 2 · 14:30

    Kayak, swim & snorkel at Ba Trai Dao / Bright & Dark Cave

    The cruise sails through Lan Ha Bay and arrives at the Ha Long Bay area, surrounded by extraordinary limestone karst landscapes. Visit the Ba Trai Dao Beach area or the Bright and Dark Cave and islets by kayak, explore the cave system, swim in the crystal-clear water, walk on natural sand beaches, or snorkel with specialized equipment.

    Jacuzzi & water slide

    Back on board, make use of the cruise's jacuzzi and slide system.

  11. Day 2 · 17:15

    Cooking class & sunset party

    Enjoy a traditional cooking class with the chef and tour guide, then the sunset party while watching the beautiful sunset on the bay.

    Dinner on board

    Delicious local food prepared and served by our wonderful onboard catering staff — a delightful meal in an intimate, romantic setting.

  13. Day 2 · 21:00

    Night on the bay — squid fishing & karaoke

    Enjoy the bay landscape at night from the top deck, relax with drinks from the bar, try your hand at night squid fishing, or join a fun karaoke session with friends and family. Overnight on the cruise. Day One program ends around 23:00.

    Sunrise & light breakfast

    Begin the day with a cup of coffee, photos, or the sunrise from your cabin window. Enjoy a light breakfast amid the delightful, peaceful beauty of the bay.

  15. Day 3 · 08:00

    Viet Hai ancient village by bicycle

    The cruise takes you to Viet Hai ancient village on Cat Ba Island — hop on a bicycle (electric car also available) through a rainforest tunnel to a village nestled in a valley deep in the national park. Visit a traditional house and greet local inhabitants at their daily work, seeing their homes and the village school. Return to the boat for check-out procedures.

    Lunch while cruising back

    Enjoy a delightful lunch while the boat cruises back.

  17. Day 3 · 11:45

    Disembark at Beo Harbour

    Return to the quay side in the south of the bay and disembark. We bid farewell at the port around 12:00 — end of the cruise program.

  18. Day 3 · 15:30

    Bus to Hanoi

    After disembarking at Beo Harbour around 12:00, the 15:30 bus to Hanoi (arrives about 19:00). Prefer Ninh Binh? Pick the bus or the limousine to Ninh Binh in the booking panel — the price follows your choice.
